Small K-9 School & Rescue, Spay Program!!!
Do you have a dog that is not spayed and had unwanted puppies? If you have not had your dog spayed due to lack of funds please
consider this, contact me I will pay for your dog to be spayed by one of the veterinarians that I am working with on this project. I will also take your unwanted pappies have them
vaccinated, de-wormed, begin basic obedience and find these puppies a caring, loving responsible forever home. I also screen people well.
Before I start to get hate mail, allow me to explain… some people even with the best of intentions get a dog they sometimes
cannot provide for eg. Getting the dog fixed. Especially if the dog is a female, the dog may get pregnant and since there are
far too many dogs and not enough homes for them all people start to give the puppies away for free (particularly mutts).
People that take free puppies-may or may not be able to afford these dogs, and I say dog because that is what they will grow
up to be very soon. Which brings me to my next point-everyone LOVES puppies but change their mind VERY quickly when the
puppy in 4 months old and needs real training. Or the puppy gets too big for the house…and the dog gets re homed again-people
need to understand multiple homes causes many behaviour issues such as separation anxiety and possessiveness to name a few…
So I thought why not, I will pay for your dog to get spayed after she is done feeding her babies-but the babies have to stay
with mom till at least 7 week old-I would really like the puppies to go at 8 weeks-this is a very sensitive time for the puppies as
this is the time the mom teaches them how to be a dog. Even if it appears that the mom wants nothing to do with the puppies she is
still teaching them how to be a dog, this way at 8weeks when the puppies go to their new homes they are well on the way of being
house trained, being able to communicate with other dogs through body language (this is very important puppies that are taken
from the mom too early will not know how to be a dog and more than likely develop dog to dog aggression).
What I am trying to stop is this cycle of unwanted puppies being brought into this world. People need to understand that even with best of precautions dogs can still get pregnant and there are far too many unwanted dogs out there that are getting
euthanize everyday for no fault of their own.
Anyway I got more to say but this is going to be too long.
My point is this-dogs and cats are very over populated!!!! You need to have them fixed!!!! People need to stop giving
away free puppies (great way to have the puppies end up in a puppy mill), people need to stop taking free dogs without
being aware of the breed and what RESPONSIBLE dog ownership involves that includes having them fixed!!!
At this point what is done is done so let’s try to work together to fix this problem!
What is in it for me...
Yes, I do charge an adoption fee for the puppies.
This is how their vet bills, food, obedience training, your dogs spay and many more things are covered, by my adoption fees.
