Week One.
We will talk about: How dogs learn, how we confuse dogs without knowing it, what is the best way to teach and train your dog, popular myths about dogs, difference between dominance and aggression and introduction to a clicker training (optional)
Commands: Sit, Down, Stand, Come and Sit, Watch me (know your name).
Week Two.
We will talk about: Dog Body language, families with children will come ½ hour earlier for a doggonesafe.com presentation.
Commands: Stay, Recall, Off, Take it, Drop it, Loose leash walking, loose leash walking with an automatic sit.
Week Three.
We will talk about: any issues so far, health and grooming questions, Eyes, Ears, Nose, why their functions are important and how we can keep them healthy, discuss some dog’s special needs.
Commands: Adding watch me to walking, perfecting automatic sit when stopping, adding other commands to loose leash walking, Speeding up the command and adding stays and Random recalls during play time.
Week Four.
Bumper cars walking, Excite and Settle, Handling and massage, Increase the length of you stays as you are walking a full circle around your dog, Greeting circle, Stand for examination and Games.
